Instructions

Prepare BBQ Chicken

  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the red onion and cook for about 2 minutes until translucent.
  • Stir in the minced garlic, followed by the shredded chicken. Add paprika and Worcestershire sauce, then pour in the BBQ sauce. Stir and cook for an additional 2 to 3 minutes.

Prep Garlic Butter

  • In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the softened butter, minced garlic, and chopped parsley. Microwave until melted, about 30 seconds.
  • Stir until uniform and spread this garlic butter on one side of each bread slice.

Assemble Sandwiches

  • With the buttered side down, place 6 slices of bread and top with BBQ chicken mixture, add a slice of Havarti cheese, then another for creaminess. Place the remaining bread slices on top with the buttered side up.
