Ingredients

For the cookie base

  • 1 box brownie mix (18.4 oz, fudge-style preferred) Forms the gooey base of our cookies.
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour Added to enhance the structure of the cookies.
  • 2 large eggs Bind everything together for chewy, soft results.
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil Provides that rich, moist texture.
  • 1 tbsp water A little moisture goes a long way.

For the chocolate

  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips Perfectly melty.
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chunks Plus extra for topping.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the brownie mix and flour until combined.
  • Stir in the eggs, vegetable oil, and water until a thick dough forms.
  • Gently fold in the semi-sweet chocolate chips and milk chocolate chunks.
  • Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, portion out the cookie dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Press a few extra milk chocolate chunks gently on top of each cookie.
  • Bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set and centers remain soft.
  • Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for about 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack.

Notes
