Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  • Slice the plums in half, discarding the pits, and arrange them on a baking tray. Drizzle with a tiny bit of olive oil.
  • Roast the plums for about 15-20 minutes until caramelized and fragrant.
  • While the plums are roasting, gently place the burrata on a serving plate and drizzle generously with olive oil.
  • Let the roasted plums cool slightly before arranging them around the burrata.
  • Sprinkle chopped pistachios and fresh thyme over the dish.
  • If desired, drizzle balsamic vinegar over the arrangement.
  • Serve warm as an appetizer or a side dish.

Notes

For optimal flavor, use ripe plums and fresh burrata. Be careful not to overcook the plums during roasting.
