Instructions

Preparation

  • Begin by heating a pan over medium heat. Add the unsalted butter and let it melt completely.
  • Add the sliced pears, drizzle them with honey, and sprinkle with black pepper. Cook these for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  • Remove from heat and set aside.

Prepare the Dressing

  • In a small bowl, combine the extra virgin olive oil, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey, and a generous pinch of salt and black pepper.
  • Whisk until well blended and set aside.

Assemble the Salad

  • On a large plate or in a bowl, arrange a generous bed of fresh arugula.
  • Top with the caramelized pears, followed by toasted walnuts and crumbled blue cheese.
  • Drizzle your homemade dressing over the top and serve immediately.

Notes
