Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) to prepare for baking.
  • In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and cabbage, cooking until softened and slightly golden, about 10 to 12 minutes.
  • Stir in the cream soup along with salt and pepper. Mix well until the cabbage and onion are evenly coated.
  • Transfer the cabbage mixture to a greased baking dish, spreading it out evenly.
  • Top the casserole with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake uncovered for 25 to 30 minutes, until the cheese is bubbly and lightly browned.

Notes
