Filling Ingredients

  • 1/2 can condensed milk Sweet and creamy, it provides the perfect filling.
  • 1/2 cup custard Store-bought or homemade, adds a smooth, velvety texture.
  • Cinnamon sugar To taste, for rolling the doughnut puffs.

Instructions

Make the Dough

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the cake flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar. Whisk until well-blended.
  • Pour in the milk and melted butter. Stir until a soft, slightly sticky dough forms.

Shape & Fry

  • Divide the dough into small portions and roll them into marble-sized balls.
  • Heat oil in a deep frying pan over medium heat to about 350°F (175°C).
  • Gently drop the dough balls into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally.
  • Remove dough balls and let them drain on a paper towel.

Fill

  • Mix the condensed milk and custard in a separate bowl until smooth.
  • Use a piping bag fitted with a small nozzle to fill each dough ball with the mixture.

Coat

  • While warm, roll the doughnut puffs in cinnamon sugar until evenly coated.

Notes

Ensure the oil is hot enough for frying. Experiment with different fillings such as chocolate ganache or fruit preserves for variety.
