Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, gently fold together the crab meat, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, fresh lemon juice, beaten egg, green onions, Old Bay seasoning, optional breadcrumbs, salt, and pepper.
  • Using your hands, shape the mixture into either 2 large balls or 4 smaller ones.
  • Arrange the crab bombs on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring there’s enough space between them.
  • Drizzle melted butter evenly over each crab bomb.

Baking

  • Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 20–25 minutes or until golden and firm to the touch.
  • Once baked, serve immediately with fresh lemon wedges and your choice of dipping sauce.

Notes

Be gentle with your crab when mixing to keep lumps intact. Customize seasoning as desired, or prepare ahead and refrigerate.
