Ingredients

Lobster and Sauce Ingredients

  • 2 pieces fresh lobster tails
  • 4 tablespoons rich, unsalted butter Use unsalted for better control over seasoning
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/4 cup smooth, heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup finely grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 pinch sea salt or to taste
  • freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • a handful chopped fresh parsley for garnish
  • optional lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Using kitchen shears, carefully cut along the top shell of each lobster tail to expose the juicy meat. Gently lift the meat out, keeping it attached at the base, and rest it on top of the shell.

Sauce Preparation

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream, then add Parmesan cheese and lemon juice. Stir continuously for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly. Season with sea salt and black pepper.

Baking

  • Place the lobster tails on a lined baking sheet. Generously spoon the creamy garlic butter sauce over the lobster meat. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the lobster meat is opaque and tender.

Garnishing and Serving

  • Sprinkle freshly chopped parsley over the cooked lobster tails and serve immediately with lemon wedges.

Notes

Consider adding cayenne pepper for heat or experiment with different herbs like thyme or basil for a unique twist. Always use fresh lobster for best flavor.
