Instructions

Preparation

  • Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness and season both sides with salt and pepper.

Coating

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese and breadcrumbs. Dredge each chicken breast in the mixture, pressing firmly to ensure an even coating.

Cooking

  • Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the coated chicken breasts and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.

Preparing the Garlic Sauce

  • In the same pan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.

Making It Creamy

  • Pour in the heavy cream and add the remaining butter, simmering gently until it thickens slightly.

Finishing the Sauce

Notes

For extra crunch, double-coat the chicken. You can also substitute heavy cream with half-and-half for a lighter version.
