Instructions

Preparation

  • Spread butter on one side of each slice of sourdough bread. Set aside with the buttered side facing down.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of cream cheese on the unbuttered side of two slices of bread.
  • Sprinkle garlic powder and dried dill over the cream cheese.
  • Layer two slices of cheddar and mozzarella over the cream cheese and top with 1/4 cup of dill pickles on each.
  • Close each sandwich with another slice of bread, ensuring the buttered side is facing out.

Cooking

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and grill the sandwiches for about 3–4 minutes on each side until golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Let the sandwiches cool for about a minute, slice them in half, and enjoy while hot.
