Instructions

Preparation

  • Crush the Golden Oreos into fine crumbs using a food processor or blender.
  • Combine the Oreo crumbs with softened cream cheese in a bowl until homogenous and slightly sticky.

Shaping

  • Gather about 1 ½ tablespoons of the cookie mixture and mold it into egg shapes.
  • Place the shaped eggs on a parchment-lined baking sheet, cover, and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Coating

  • Melt 10 ounces of white candy coating, then dip each chilled egg using a toothpick.
  • Return the coated eggs to the parchment-lined sheet to dry completely.
  • Fill any small holes from the toothpick with additional melted candy.

Decorating

  • Melt 1 ounce of white candy coating for each color used.
  • Add gel icing color and stir until well-combined.
  • Use a piping bag or fork to drizzle designs over the eggs.

Chilling & Serving

  • Store decorated eggs in the refrigerator and enjoy within a week.

Notes

For the best results, use authentic cream cheese for a richer flavor. Consider adding mini chocolate chips or sprinkles into the mix. Melt candy coating in short intervals to maintain smoothness.
