Ingredients

Crab Bomb Filling

  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb lump crab meat Fresh is preferred but canned is acceptable.
  • 4 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 tsp Old Bay seasoning Adjust to taste.
  • 1 ea egg, beaten
  • Chopped parsley (optional, for garnish) Add for color and flavor.

Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine lump crab meat, softened cream cheese, shredded mozzarella, grated Parmesan, garlic powder, Old Bay seasoning, and beaten egg. Stir until well blended.
  • Scoop portions of the crab mixture and shape into golf ball-sized balls. Place on a greased baking sheet with space between each.
  • Drizzle melted butter over each crab bomb.

Baking

  • Bake in preheated oven for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and crispy.
  • If desired, garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

For best results, use fresh crab meat. Chill the mixture for 30 minutes for easier handling. Adjust seasoning to taste or add lemon zest for extra flavor.
