Instructions

Preparation

  • Line a 9x9-inch square pan with parchment paper or grease it to ensure easy release.
  • Layer the graham crackers in a single layer to cover the bottom of the pan.

Making the Filling

  • In a large bowl, whisk together whole milk and instant vanilla pudding mix until thickened, about 2 minutes.
  • Fold in the whipped topping and optional vanilla extract until smooth.

Layering

  • Spread half of the pudding mixture over the graham cracker base.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers followed by the remaining pudding mixture.
  • Finish with a final layer of graham crackers.

Preparing the Ganache

  • Heat heavy cream until simmering, then pour over chocolate chips and let sit for 2 minutes.
  • Stir until smooth and glossy, then add a pinch of salt.

Assembling

  • Pour the ganache over the final graham cracker layer and spread evenly.
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight.
