Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Cook the jumbo pasta shells according to the package directions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
  • In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil or butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the peeled and deveined shrimp, honey, soy sauce, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until the shrimp turns pink and opaque.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and half of the shredded mozzarella cheese until melted and fully combined.
  • In a large baking dish, mix the cooked pasta shells with the shrimp sauce, ensuring each shell is filled with the mixture.
  • Sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese over the top of the filled pasta shells and finish with a sprinkle of green onions.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
  • Let the dish cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a bit of a kick, consider adding a pinch of red pepper flakes when sautéing the garlic. You can use pre-cooked shrimp to save time. Leftovers store well in an airtight container for up to three days.
