Ingredients

For the Ravioli

  • 1 lb lobster ravioli Tender, flavorful pasta filled with succulent lobster

For the Sauce

  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter Rich and creamy, providing a luscious base for the sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced Aromatic and savory, infusing the dish with depth
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream Adds a silky texture to the sauce
  • 1/4 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice Brightens the dish with a refreshing zest
  • 1 whole zest of 1 lemon Intensifies the citrus flavor for a vibrant touch
  • 1/4 cup chicken or seafood broth Enhances the sauce’s richness and depth
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese Adds saltiness and creaminess
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste Essential for balancing flavors
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional) Provides a hint of heat, if desired
  • Fresh basil or parsley, chopped for garnish A splash of color and freshness

Instructions

Preparation

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a rolling boil. Cook the lobster ravioli according to the package instructions (typically 3-5 minutes). Reserve 1/4 cup of the pasta water, drain the ravioli and set aside.

Making the Sauce

  • In a large skillet, melt the unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant, ensuring it doesn't brown.
  • Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice, lemon zest, broth, and red pepper flakes (if using). Allow the mixture to simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Combining

  • Lower the heat and whisk in the heavy cream and grated Parmesan cheese. Let it simmer until the sauce slightly thickens, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Tossing and Serving

  • Gently add the cooked lobster ravioli into the skillet, tossing to coat them evenly in the sauce. If the sauce is too thick, gradually add the reserved pasta water until desired consistency is reached.
  • Transfer the coated ravioli to serving plates. Spoon extra sauce over the top and garnish with chopped basil or parsley. Serve warm with crusty bread or a fresh salad.

Notes

For extra flavor, consider adding a splash of white wine to the sauce after sautéing the garlic. Customize spices to your liking and try different herbs for variety.
