Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two 9-inch round cake pans.
  • In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, granulated sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well mixed.
  • Add the buttermilk, vegetable oil, eggs, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until well combined.
  • Gradually stir in hot water until the batter is smooth. Gently fold in the M&M’s Peanut Butter.
  • Divide the batter evenly between the prepared cake pans and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

Frosting Preparation

  • In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and creamy peanut butter until smooth.
