  • to taste lemon and peach slices for garnish Adds beauty and aroma.

Instructions

Preparation

  • In a saucepan, combine the sliced peaches with 1/2 cup of water and simmer for 8–10 minutes until the peaches soften and become syrupy.
  • Let the cooked peaches cool slightly, then transfer them to a blender and blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve, discarding any solids, to retain a vibrant peach puree.

Mixing

  • In a large pitcher, pour in the peach puree, then add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and honey (or sugar), stirring gently until completely dissolved.
  • Stir in the cold water and plenty of ice cubes, then taste and adjust sweetness if necessary.

Serving

  • Pour the refreshing peach lemonade into glasses and garnish each with fresh peach and lemon slices.

Notes

For flavor variations, consider adding fresh mint leaves to the pitcher for a refreshing twist. Allow the peach puree to cool in the refrigerator before combining for an even more refreshing drink. This lemonade pairs well with light summer dishes such as grilled chicken or fresh salads.
