Ingredients

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces breakfast sausage patties golden and juicy
  • 4 large eggs farm-fresh and vibrant
  • 4 slices sharp cheddar cheese perfectly melted
  • 4 pieces English muffins split and toasty
  • to taste grape jelly sweet and tangy
  • to taste salt for seasoning
  • to taste pepper for seasoning

Instructions

Cooking the Sausage

  • Heat a skillet over medium heat, and place the breakfast sausage patties in the skillet. Cook according to the package instructions until browned and cooked thoroughly.

Cooking the Eggs

  • In the same skillet, crack the eggs carefully, avoiding breaking the yolks if you prefer them fried. Cook to your desired doneness and season with salt and pepper.

Melting the Cheese

  • As the eggs near completion, lay a slice of cheddar cheese on each egg and let it melt slightly.

Assembling the Sandwiches

  • Spread grape jelly on the bottom half of each toasted English muffin.
  • Place a cooked sausage patty on top of the jelly, followed by the cheesy egg.
  • Cap with the other half of the toasted English muffin.

Serving

  • Serve the sandwiches warm, with extra grape jelly on the side for dipping.

Notes

Consider adding garlic powder or crushed red pepper flakes when cooking the sausage for extra flavor. Try herb-infused butter on the English muffins for extra richness.
