Ingredients

For the Steak

For Cooking

Instructions

Marinate the Steak

  • In a bowl, combine top sirloin chunks with mirin, minced garlic, ginger paste, 1 teaspoon sesame oil, white pepper, and salt. Toss well and marinate for at least 30 minutes.

Cook the Veggies

  • In a large pan, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add the sliced carrots, zucchini, and mushrooms. Sauté for 10 to 15 minutes until golden and tender. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.

Sear the Steak

  • In the same pan, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add marinated steak and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until seared. Add teriyaki sauce and toss to coat.

Serve It Up

  • Plate the stir-fried steak and veggies alongside fluffy fried rice, and drizzle with Yum Yum Sauce.

Notes

Marinate steak for longer (up to a few hours or overnight) for more flavor. Experiment with different vegetables like bell peppers or broccoli.
