Ingredients

For the Chicken

For the Broth

  • 4 cups chicken broth The base of your ramen, providing warmth and heartiness.
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced Fragrant and aromatic, it infuses the broth with rich flavor.
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter Creamy richness that adds to the broth's luxurious texture.
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream For a decadent, creamy finish.
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce Brings umami to the dish.
  • 1 tsp chili oil (optional) For those who crave extra heat.

For the Noodles and Toppings

  • 2 packs ramen noodles Discard seasoning packets.
  • 2 pieces green onions, finely chopped Bright and fresh, adding a burst of color and flavor.

Instructions

Marinate the Chicken

  • In a spacious bowl, coat the chicken thighs or breasts with sriracha, honey, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Allow it to sit for at least 15 minutes.

Cook the Chicken

  • Heat 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated chicken and sear each piece for about 5–6 minutes per side until cooked through. Transfer to a cutting board, let it rest, then slice into thick strips.

Prepare the Broth

  • Melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter in a medium pot over medium heat.
  • Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and soy sauce, along with the heavy cream. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Optionally, drizzle in some chili oil.

Cook the Ramen

  • Prepare the ramen noodles according to package instructions, leaving out the seasoning packets. Drain and set aside.

Assemble the Bowls

  • Divide the cooked ramen noodles into serving bowls and pour the creamy garlic broth over them.
  • Top each bowl with sliced chicken.

Garnish & Serve

  • Sprinkle chopped green onions on top. Optionally, add a soft-boiled egg and sesame seeds. Drizzle with additional chili oil if desired.

Notes

Marinate chicken longer for enhanced flavor. Consider adding vegetables for nutrition and color. Adjust heaviness of the broth to your preference.
