Ingredients

  • 1 pack wooden cocktail skewers or picks For assembling the skewers.

Mint-Chili Syrup

  • 2 tbsp honey or agave Natural sweetener to intensify flavors.
  • 1 juice lime Adds a zesty kick.
  • 1 small red chili, finely chopped Adds heat.
  • 1 tbsp water To combine the syrup ingredients.
  • 1 tbsp finely chopped fresh mint Adds a fragrant uplift.

Instructions

Make the Mint-Chili Syrup

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the honey (or agave), lime juice, finely chopped chili, and water. Stir gently until it reaches a simmer.
  • Let it bubble for 2-3 minutes for the flavors to meld. Remove from heat and stir in the finely chopped mint. Allow to cool completely.

Assemble the Skewers

  • Thread a cube of watermelon followed by a cube of feta cheese onto each skewer, alternating for a visually appealing pattern.

Drizzle & Chill

  • Arrange the assembled skewers on a serving platter and drizzle them generously with the cooled mint-chili syrup.

Serve

  • Serve immediately or refrigerate for about 10 minutes before serving for an extra refreshing experience.

Notes

Choose ripe watermelon and high-quality feta for the best results. You can prepare the syrup ahead and refrigerate it.
