Instructions

Seasoning the Chicken

  • Begin by seasoning your chicken chunks with salt, black pepper, and paprika.

Searing the Chicken

  • In a large skillet, heat some oil over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken in batches for about 5–7 minutes until golden brown and cooked through. Set aside.

Creating the Flavor Base

  • In the same skillet, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour in the chicken broth, scraping the skillet bottom to enhance richness.

Making the Creamy Sauce

  • Stir in the heavy cream, lemon juice, thyme, and cayenne pepper (if desired). Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.

Combining Chicken and Sauce

  • Return the seared chicken to the skillet and stir in the Parmesan cheese. Simmer until the sauce thickens to your preference.
  • If desired, mix cornstarch with cold water before adding for a thicker sauce.

Finishing Touches

  • Sprinkle chopped parsley and green onions over the dish. Serve hot.
