Instructions

Preparation

  • Preheat your oven to 325°F (163°C). Grease a 9-inch springform pan.
  • For the crust: Combine the Oreo crumbs and melted butter in a bowl. Press it firmly into the bottom of the prepared pan and bake for 10 minutes.
  • For the cheesecake filling: In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the sugar and mix well. Then add in the sour cream and vanilla extract. Beat in the eggs one at a time until light and fluffy. Stir in the yellow food coloring and crushed Oreos.
  • Pour the cheesecake batter into the cooled crust and spread it evenly.

Baking

  • Bake the cheesecake for approximately 60-70 minutes, or until the center is just set. Turn off the oven and allow cooling for 1 hour with the door ajar.

Cooling and Decorating
